hours a week: Grounds Volunteer at Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site, 1999 - 1 PERSON Routine Duties: Include weeding, watering, deadheading flowers and pruning shrubs with a gardener. Seasonal Projects: Include assisting a gardener on one or more of the following: propagating groundcovers in flats or 4" pots, transplanting groundcover plugs from one area to another, dividing heirloom irises and replanting, transplanting heirloom irises, mulching groundcovers, ferns, irises for winter protection, watering, liquid feed nursery plants.
